While meeting reporters, Naam Tamilar party chief Seeman questioned who Andal is. He said, there should not be protests against Vairamuthu as he expressed his regret after writing the article title ‘Tamilai Andal’. Seeman said, “Andal herself wrote Tamil songs. The people who are performing pooja in Sanskrit are the traitors to the Goddess and not Vairamuthu”. Allegedly, the lyricist’s article portrayed the Goddess in a bad light.
