SEEMAN, BHARATHIRAJA, VETRIMAARAN AND AMEER AMONG ARRESTED

Naam Tamilar Katchi’s chief coordinator Seeman, filmmakers Bharathiraja, Vetrimaaran, Ameer and Manithaneya Jananayaga Katchi leader Thamimun Ansari were arrested on Thursday for protesting against PM Modi’s visit to Chennai. They had planned to show black flag to PM Modi at the Chennai airport over the Centre’s failure to constitute the Cauvery Management Board (CMB).Meanwhile, several protesters floated black balloons in the air near places around the Chennai airport.
