Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam are having a secret battle for power, while they don’t show any such symptoms outside, suggests a report by the Times of India. The report also says OPS is not allegedly free to take decisions even in his own departments, as they have to be routed through CM. Allegedly, OPS wanted to shift police officers who caused trouble for him before the merger, while EPS didn’t yield to it. Further, except K P Munusamy, no other OPS supporters are given any key party positions, while ‘Mafoi’ K Pandiarajan has been made minister for an insignificant portfolio, the report said.
