Two schools in Coimbatore, Yuva Bharathi and K'SIRS International school have reportedly prescribed a diet for school students. According to media reports, the nutrition department of the school worked on a diet chart based on the class and activities they are involved. The school have asked the parents to avoid junk and give students healthy food like fruits, vegetables, millets, cereals. The Yuva Bharathi school also sends a recipe to parents as they follow one day in a week for traditional food.
