SC REQUESTS TN PEOPLE TO BE SILENT; QUIT PROTESTS

In wake of the contempt proceedings that have been filed by the Tamil Nadu government against the Centre for not constituting Cauvery Management Board within the stipulated time as specified by the Supreme Court, the case is expected to come before the court on April 9. Meanwhile, the Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra has asked the people of Tamil Nadu to quit protests over the issue and maintain silence.
