SC probes: Can Gandhi assassination be examined again?

The Supreme Court on Friday reportedly appointed the senior Advocate Amarendra Sharan to assist them in examining whether Mahatma Gandhi's assassination can be probed again. According to media reports, the bench comprising Justice SA Bobde and Justice L Nageswara Rao asked Sharan to ascertain the material evidence to accept the petition seeking re-investigation into the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi that took place seven decades ago.
