Chennai: Reports suggest that violence broke down at Sathyabama University last night (Nov 22nd) around 8 pm. Angry students allegedly set fire to the campus properties following the suicide of a first-year girl student on Wednesday afternoon. The university students reportedly claim insult by a staff member caused her death. The victim is from Andhra Pradesh, and her body has been sent for post-mortem.
