SALEM: MAN ARRESTED FOR MARRYING SIX TIMES

A man from Salem was arrested after marrying six different women. Boopathi is a daily-wage labourer who was already married five different times. However, he had fought with all his wives and lived with his parents.

Boopathi married once again, this time to Krishnaveni. Suspicious of Boopathi's activities, Krishnaveni did a background check on him and got to know that he was already married five times. When Krishnaveni confronted her in-laws, she was locked up in a room and threatened to keep quiet.

Krishnaveni escaped and registered a complaint with the police. While Boopathi was arrested, his parents went into hiding. A search has been initiated to find them.
