Rs 100 cr defamation case filed against Kamal Haasan

Puthiya Tamizhagam party has reportedly filed Rs 100 crore defamation suit against actor Kamal Haasan and Vijay TV for using casteist slur on ‘Bigg Boss’. The party reportedly claimed that actress Gayathri Raghuram, a contestant in the reality show, hurt the sentiments of those living in slums and huts after she called another contestant Julie a ‘Cherry-dweller’ (slum-dweller).
