A group of four men allegedly attacked a beauty parlour in Veerakeram, Coimbatore on Monday evening and assaulted three women staff. They also robbed 3 sovereigns of gold, Rs.25,000 cash and made a customer withdraw cash of Rs.12000 from an ATM nearby and fled away in the customer's car. Reportedly, one of the burglars was held by the police in Tirupur when he tried to snatch a mobile phone from a man on Tuesday. Further investigations are going on. According to media reports, no complaint has been registered by the parlour owner and the investigative officer said that the intention of the crime was not to rob, but the parlour owner and the robbers have a personal dispute.
