Robbers drill hole onto jewellery shop in filmy style loot

A jewellery shop in Kolathur was robbed off 3.5 kg of gold jewellery, 4 kg silver jewellery and Rs 2 lakh cash. Reportedly, the robbers had rented the first floor of the premises to drill a hole into the shop in order to decamp with its belongings. The robbery is reported to have taken place between 1 pm and 3 pm on Thursday.
