Independent candidate TTV Dhinakaran has won the RK Nagar bypoll with 89,013 votes, which is half the number of total voters in the constituency. While Dhinakaran has bagged 50% of the votes, AIADMK’s Madhusudhan received 27.31% of votes, which is 48,306 votes. Meanwhile, DMK’s Maruthu Ganesh has got 24,651 votes, which is 13.93% of the total votes.
