According to a US study, teenagers who come across online tobacco ads have higher chances of smoking than the ones who aren’t exposed to those ads. The survey was reportedly conducted among 12,000 adolescents in the age range from 12 to 17 which was about their social media habits and tobacco use. The most common types of engagement were through email alerts, articles and videos.
