Pattali Makkal Katchi youth wing chief Anbumani Ramadoss, while speaking to reporters in Coimbatore, said that he was ready to be the first MP to resign to put pressure on the Centre to constitute the Cauvery Management Board. He also reportedly urged that all the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs and the MLAs from Tamil Nadu should resign for this matter.
