RAINS TO BE EXPECTED IN CHENNAI? HERE IS WHAT THE MET SAYS

According to reports, light rains can be expected in Chennai throughout the day on Wednesday. The sky will remain cloudy says the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC).

Rains started at around 1.45 am on Wednesday and went on till 7.30 am. Overall Chennai received around 1.8 cm today. The temperature was at around 27.2 to 27.4 degree Celcius. 

RMC also forecasted a low-pressure area to form around the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours. It is likely to change into a depression and head towards north-Andhra-South Odisha coast.
