The Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai has said that many places in Tamil Nadu and neighbouring Puducherry may receive rains in the next two days. The low-pressure area lying above the southwest Bay of Bengal will move towards the west, the centre said, adding that this will result in mild to heavy rains. Further, it added that heavy winds ranging from 45-55 kmph will be witnessed in the next two days.
