RAILWAY POLICE TO SET UP HELP DESK IN CENTRAL STATION TO MINIMISE HUMAN TRAFFICKING

According to reports, the railway police will be setting up a help desk in the Chennai Central railway station to identify the victims of human trafficking.
C Sylendra Babu, additional director general of police, Railways said, “We will take every effort to protect children and women who are highly vulnerable”.
If the trial help desk that they will be setting succeeds, Railway police will reportedly set up help desks in all railway stations.
