After 5 days and 80 hours of persistent effort, Sujith Wilson, the 2-year-old boy from Nadukaatupati Village, Trichy could not be saved from the trapped borewell. The unfortunate event that led Sujith to fall into the uncovered borewell on Friday (October 25) only resulted in the recovery of the kid's lifeless body. The final rituals for Sujith Wilson happened at a Cemetery garden in Fathimapudur Village this morning.
Sujith was cremated as per Christian practices. Many Political leaders including MK Stalin, S Ramadoss and TTV Dinakaran expressed their heartfelt condolences to Sujith's family who looked completely devastated by their son's death. Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin who hails from Tamil Nadu also expressed his condolences via his twitter space.
He tweeted,"#RIPSujith really sad sad morning. Let’s hope such accidents don’t happen again."(sic).

Meanwhile CSK star cricketer Harbhajan Singh also tweeted in his twitter space in Tamil. The translated version of his tweet is given below.
"Unbearable Tragedy! I feel like crying while thinking that I could not do anything. We did not lose just one life but everybody’s hope. Hereafter no other life should be lost like this. Who will console his Mother and Father? You will stay in my mind forever son #Sujith #RIPSujith"
