After the outbreak of H Raja’s Facebook post, ‘Punal’ of eight brahmins in Chennai’s Triplicane has forcefully been cut by eight unidentified motorists. Following the demolition of Lenin's statue in Tripura, H Raja on Tuesday took to Facebook and said that the statues of Periyar in Tamil Nadu will face the same. The status was however deleted later. A Periyar statue in Vellore was vandalised on Tuesday, following which security has been tightened near the Periyar statues in Tamil Nadu.
