CCTV FOOTAGE OF THOOTHUKUDI SHOOTING RELEASED

According to reports, CCTV footage of the violence that took place during the 100th day of the anti-Sterlite protests in Thoothukudi has been released by the public relations office.
Protests that have been taking place for more than 100 days, turned violent on May 22 after the police opened gunfire against the protestors. 13 were killed and many were left injured.
The CCTV footage taken from outside the district collectorate office shows a few protestors involving in stone-pelting. The protestors could also be seen throwing stones at the police and inside the collector's office.
