A third-year college student reportedly slipped and fell from a private college bus near Pudupakkam on Saturday. Reports say, following an unexpected tyre burst, the bus floor collapsed, which led to the accident. The girl escaped, but suffered serious injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital. Following this, students from the college held protests on Monday and college officials have assured to pay hospital bills; no case has been registered so far, say reports.
