Protest continues for the second day in Chennai

Over 3000 temporary nurses reportedly staged a protest in Anna Salai, Chennai demanding permanent employment and an increase in salary which they are currently receiving on contractual basis, on Monday. The protest continued for the second day on Tuesday amid tight police security. Nurses reportedly said that their demands have not been heard yet and protests will continue until they’re met with.
