ACTOR GANJA KARUPPU READY FOR POLITICAL RUN; JOINS HANDS WITH AIADMK

In the history of Tamil cinema, there have been numerous stars who have taken the political plunge. From the yesteryear days of MG Ramachandran to Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, there is a recurring pattern. The latest addition to that list is noted comedian Ganja Karuppu.

Karuppu who is noted for playing comic roles in rural entertainers is all ready to take a political plunge. Earlier in 2016, he had announced his intentions of entering into politics. Looks like now is the time!

Ganja Karuppu met Tamil Nadu chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami at his Green House residence in Chennai and has now joined the AIADMK. As we near the 2019 general elections, it will be interesting to see whether these new star additions will bring out changes in the fortunes of parties.

After entertaining audience with his performances in films like 'Ram', 'Sandakozhi', 'Subramaniyapuram', Karuppu was part of the first season of popular reality television series Bigg Boss Tamil.
