SHOCKING ACT OF ‘10 MONTHS OLD’ BABY’S GRANDFATHER IN “POLLACHI”

Selvaraj hails from a village Karuppampalayam near Pollachi, Coimbatore district. He was living with his son Kumar, daughter-in-law Muthumalai and the 10-month-old baby Dharshini. According to the reports, Selvaraj went into a depression in recent times as his second wife refused to live with him and moved away.

In a horrifying family incident, Selvaraj, the Grand Father of a 10-month-old baby has reportedly involved in a heinous act to kill the little one. As per Polimer report, Selvaraj had involved in the crime assuming that his second wife parted away from him only because of the baby. The incident has caused a strong depression for Kumar and daughter-in-law Muthumalai.

The police investigation revealed, Selvaraj had forcefully carried the baby from Muthumalai in a two-wheeler without informing the place of transit. Since he did not show up for a very long time, Muthumalai and Selvaraj had to register a police complaint. Later the police traced Selvaraj’s number through a mobile signal at a railway station before arresting him.

The police were taken aback by Selvaraj’s statement in which he confessed to killing the baby by repeatedly hitting it with a brick near Othakalmandapam-Thoppampalayam division. Then, the police accompanied Selvaraj to the crime spot where the little baby’s dead body was discovered.
