According to reports, political parties and student associations conducted protests in various locations across Tamil Nadu seeking justice for the death of Anitha, who committed suicide after failing to join a medical programme. They also held protests demanding to revoke NEET medical test. The protests against NEET are intensifying across the State following the suicide of Anitha, who scored 1,176 out of 1,200 marks in class XII State Board exams.
