POLICE STRIKES DOWN MAN FOR STANDING ON ROAD

A man was beaten up mercilessly by a police officer for standing on the road in Ramanathapuram. Reportedly, Vigneshwaran was on the phone, talking with his friend, when police officer Dinesh arrived.

The victim was asked by Dinesh to leave. However, Vigneshwaran did not comply with his orders and an argument ensued between them.

The police reportedly got visibly angry with the situation and suddenly struck Vigneshwaran down. It was alleged that after hitting Vigneshwaran, Dinesh used violence against other pedestrians as well.
