DMDK leader Premalatha Vijayakanth has reportedly said that the Income Tax raid at Jayalalithaa’s Poes Garden residence could not have happened without the permission of Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami. She also alleged that the raid is a political vendetta. Meanwhile, party chief Vijayakanth, speaking at an agitation in Chennai against the sugar price hike in ration shops, reportedly asked if the ministers will consume the Masoor dal distributed in the ration shops. Further, reacting to Governor Banwarilal Purohit’s Coimbatore visit, Vijayakanth asked where the state autonomy is.
