Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Amma scooter scheme on Thursday in Chennai. At the inauguration ceremony, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Edappadi K. Palaniswami requested the PM for the Cauvery management board to take action. He even addressed the issue in English for Modi to understand. However, Modi did not mention the Cauvery issue even once during his speech, much to the Tamil Nadu farmers’ disappointment.
