A woman was admitted to Manapparai government hospital and was undergoing treatment for 10 days. Reportedly, the woman passed away on Tuesday as no proper treatment was given. The woman died at 01:00 pm. but her body was not allowed to be taken home until 06:00 p.m. According to media reports, stretcher and ambulance were provided to bring her out of the hospital, so the woman's husband and son carried her on their shoulder to the car to take the dead body home. Similar situations like this were reported in other states, but this is the first case in TN reported.
