PETROL BOMB HURLED ON CAR NEAR TTV DHINAKARAN’S ADYAR RESIDENCE

According to reports, at least three people were injured after a petrol bomb was hurled on a car parked near Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam leader TTV Dhinakaran’s residence in Adyar, Chennai. Dhinakaran’s driver Pandiyan was among the injured in the incident. The vehicle was also allegedly damaged from stone pelting.
Sashank Sai, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adyar, reportedly said that Bullet Parimalam, who was recently removed from AMMK, was involved in the act. The petrol bomb exploded in Parimalam’s car when they tried to throw it on Dhinakaran’s house, say reports.
Reports suggest that Parimalam was a functionary of AMMK from Kanchipuram. Police also reportedly recovered a sickle from the vehicle. Subbaiah, the driver of Parimalam, has reportedly been arrested and police have been investigating the matter.
