In a report published by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), it has reportedly been claimed that there were a lot of instances in which bulls were treated cruelly during Jallikattu which was conducted in Tamil Nadu from January 14 - January 28. “The ban imposed by the SC must be continued to prevent bulls from enduring cruelty and dying,” PETA’s CEO for India - Manilal Valliyate - reportedly said while submitting the report.
