The Supreme Court on Monday reportedly issued a notice to Tamil Nadu government on a plea filed by PETA against the State government’s new law allowing Jallikattu. The government passed the law after the people including students conducted massive protests across Tamil Nadu demanding Jallikattu to be conducted. According to reports, PETA has submitted videos and photographs taken during Jallikattu events in several places across Tamil Nadu.
