PMK chief Ramadoss, in his tweet, has said that Rajiv Gandhi assassination convict Perarivalan does not ask for mercy but justice referring to the statement of former CBI director Karthikeyan that he will be happy if Perarivalan is released on the basis of mercy. Meanwhile, former Supreme Court Judge, Justice K T Thomas, has written to Congress chief and the former PM’s wife Sonia Gandhi to “show magnanimity” and write to the President to grant remission to the convicts who have been in jail since 1991, say reports.
