PARK GLOBAL SCHOOL CLASS X GIRL’S RECORD BREAKING TALENT

A Class X student S Vaishnavi from Park Global School, Coimbatore made an attempt on Thursday to etch her name in the Guinness Book of Records in Yoga by performing three different types of asanas.
The performances that she did were breathtaking and record-breaking and are as follows:
1. She used contortion chest stand yoga procedure to put six egg cups using the feet in a contortion chest stand in 18.28 seconds, breaking the previous record of 21.52 seconds.
2. She used contortion roll yoga procedure to travel 20 minutes in just 13.8 seconds breaking the previous record of 15.54 seconds.
3.Her longest chin stand timing is 7 minutes while the earlier record was 3 minutes.
The attempts were made in the presence of Dr. Anusha R, CEO, Park Group of Institutions and adjudicators of the Guinness Book of Records. While interacting with media about her preparations for the record, Vaishnavi said “I practiced rigorously for the last 10 days to engrave my name in the Guinness Book of Records. I practiced from morning till night every day without a break under the guidance of Yoga teacher Ramu S and Lakshmanan S, who run the Swami Vivekananda Yoga Theory and Therapy School in Tirupur.” The 15-year-old further said, “I am positive that I will achieve it.” From the age of 9, Vaishnavi has been practicing Yoga and she has participated in more than 550 district, state, national and international-level Yoga competitions. She has won 250 medals, a majority of them being Gold.
Commenting on the attempt Dr Anusha R, CEO, Park Group of Institutions said, “At Park, we identify and support our children with talents so that they excel in extra-curricular activities of their choice. I am more than happy having sponsored Vaishnavi and her sister’s education and also partly sponsored her international tournaments. She has never come home empty handed. She continues to keep the flag of the Park Global School flying high and she is also a motivation to our other children in school. I am positive that the attempt will come through.”
