Over 3,300 arrested in Chennai for protesting against Ram Rajya Rath Yatra

Over 3,300 protesters were arrested in Chennai on Tuesday for protesting against the Ram Rajya Rath Yatra, say reports. Various political parties held agitations in around 70 places in Chennai against the Yatra by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Earlier, political leaders including DMK working president MK Stalin, VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan and Tamilar Valvurimai Katchi leader Velmurugan were arrested for protesting against the Yatra.
