In the Iftaar function that happened in Chennai on June 4, Deputy CM O. Paneer Selvam had used Rajinikanth's punch dialogue to talk about the Lok Sabha Election results.

AIADMK had organised Iftaar function in Chennai. Along with O. Paneer Selvam, DMDK's Premalatha, PMK's Ramadoss, TMC's Vasan, and many others have participated in the event.

While speaking, O.Paneer Selvam had mentioned all the welfare schemes the government has brought for Muslim people. He also said that people would like for Amma's rule to continue.

He also went on to say "Nallavargalai iraivan sodhipan aanal kaividamatan" (god will test good people but he will never forsake them) "kettavargaluku aandavan neraya kudupan aana kaivituviduvan" (god will give a lot to bad people, but he will forsake them) while talking about Lok Sabha results.
