Tamil Nadu information minister Kadambur Raju has reportedly said that the government has no plan to reduce or roll back the entertainment tax imposed on films in the State. The minister on Monday reportedly said, “We have no plans to reduce or rollback the entertainment tax as of now”. Nadigar Sangam General Secretary Vishal on Sunday reportedly announced that a delegation will meet CM Edappadi K Palaniswami over the issue. The information minister also reportedly added, “Since ticket prices have been revised, the film industry won't be affected by this move”.
