The Madras High Court has reportedly passed an order restraining Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) from opening new liqour shops on the national and state highways. In the case filed by advocate Balu against the opening of TASMAC shops against court’s order, the Madras High Court has given Tamil Nadu government time until November 20 for getting an explanation from the Supreme Court.
