TASMAC outlets to be closed for three days

The Chennai Collector V.Anbuselvan reportedly announced that all TASMAC retail vending shops in the state will remain closed on Tiruvalluvar Day (Jan 15), Republic Day (Jan 26) and Vallalar Ninaivu Naal (Jan 31). He further warned that strict action will be taken against those involved in sale of liquor and violating the government rules.
