According to TOI reports, the northeast monsoon is likely to resume from Tuesday and bring moderate rainfall across the State. Notably, on Sunday the night temperature in Chennai was recorded at 25.6° Celsius. Reports say, the average minimum temperature for December is 21.9° Celsius. However, the city has witnessed a rise in night temperature of three degrees above normal.
