Home > News Shots > Tamil NaduChennai- based painter, Ganesh, who was in news earlier for stabbing and killing his aunt to death, was caught by the Police. Ganesh, a resident of Kolathur’s Balaji Nagar, stabbed his aunt Gunasundari with a kitchen Knife and Ran away.
A Special force led by Inspector Shanmugavel investigated the case and brought him back to Chennai. As per media reports, after the police held severe investigations on the case, Ganesh revealed why he killed his aunt. He told the police that he was in a relationship with his aunt. However, after she got married, he got into another relationship. He mentioned that things got worse when Gunasundari couldn’t tolerate the fact that he was in another relationship and troubled him several times.
He further stated that things escalated when she came to the new apartment to trouble him. They broke into a scuffle shortly after she arrived there. He confessed that when the argument peaked, he ran out of patience and stabbed her with a Kitchen Knife.
He also told the police that he threw the knife in a sewage canal in Retteri. He fled to Kondamalli village located in Pernampet town, Vellore District in a two-wheeler. He was summoned before the judge and convicted of the crime. He has now been put behind the bars.
