In what looks like a relief for Chennai people from the bus fare hike, the Southern Railways is reportedly planning to introduce new train route between Moore Market complex and Avadi. The route will have suburban trains with 12-car trains and is expected to be made operational this month. As many as 3,400 people are reportedly traveling via the route and about 11 daily services will be made operational.
