The Indian Meteorological Department has reportedly predicted rain across southern and central parts of Tamil Nadu, following a low-pressure area which has formed in Indian ocean between Sri Lanka and Kanyakumari. Reports say, as the chances of rain are highly likely in southern parts of Tamil Nadu, Chennai and other northern districts in the state might witness an increase in temperature.
