A Tollgate in Nellai-Thoothukudi 4-way road has been fined Rs 20,005 for causing mental depression to a passenger who also happens to be an advocate. Prabhakaran from Veeravanallur, Tirunelvelli district was travelling to Thoothukudi from Nellai in his car on May 4 2019.

Totally the Tollgate authorities should pay Rs 20,005 within 1 month or they are liable to pay the same amount with 6 per cent interest,"added the court statement.
