NANGUNERI AND VIKRAVANDI BY-ELECTIONS: ADMK OR DMK? EXIT POLL RESULTS OUT!

One of the leading news channels in Tamil Nadu, Thanthi TV, in its Exit Polls, has predicted a win for the ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in Nanguneri and Vikravandi.

According to the exit poll results, 46-52% of the people in Nanguneri voted for AIADMK, 42-48% for Congress and 4-7% for Naam Tamizhar Katchi.

In Vikravandi the numbers were 46-52% for AIADMK, 44-50% for DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and 2-5% for Naam Tamizhar Katchi.

In Puducherry's Kamaraj Nagar, Thanthi TV's exit poll predicts a win for Congress (47-53%). 39-45% and 4-7% of the people have voted for N. R. Congress and Naam Tamizhar Katchi respectively.

By-elections for Vikravandi and Nanguneri were conducted on October 21. Vikravandi is vacant following the death of DMK MLA Radhamani while Nanguneri remains unrepresented since its MLA Vasantha Kumar resigned from his position after victory in Lok Sabha elections.
