POLICE ARRESTS NAAM TAMILAR KATCHI MEMBER FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST POLICE DURING IPL

According to reports, the police have arrested a member of Naam Tamilar Katchi for mercilessly beating up a police officer during the IPL match held in Chennai. On April 10, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders had a match at the Chepauk Stadium.
However, the match was protested against by many. Members of political groups demanded the Centre to constitute the Cauvery Management Board and protested to not hold IPL matches till action is taken. During the protest, Madhankumar, a member of Naam Tamilar Katchi had reportedly used violence against a police officer, Senthilkumar.
He was arrested by the Triplicane police.
