According to reports, the murdered college student Aswini had filed a complaint against her killer Alagesan with Maduravoyal police on February 16. Reportedly, Aswini, in the complaint said she was in friendship with the man for the past two years and later accepted his proposal. However, she said that she found him being not fit for her love over a course of the period. The girl also said that Alagesan troubled her even after she asked him to quit contacting him, the complaint reportedly said. Further, reports suggest that the man had poured petrol on him even before he came to kill Aswini. Police reportedly said that he could’ve planned to immolate himself after killing the girl.
