A video of a motorist on move being attacked by traffic police using lathi surfaced on social media on Friday. The incident reportedly took place in Kanyakumari district when the police officer tried to halt a motorist for riding without a helmet. Reports say, the man was severely injured in the head and an ambulance was called to take him to the hospital. The locals were enraged over the incident and an altercation broke out between the cops and locals.
