A section of MLAs are reportedly enjoying a free ride in brand new government buses when people are being affected by the ongoing strike by transport employees. According to TOI, every day six buses from various depots in Chennai will pick up these MLAs from their hostels in Omandurar Government Estate and drop them in the secretariat. Allegedly, the brand new buses that are not operated in the usual MTC routes will be used by MLAs and a huge number of their guests and relatives.
