MK Stalin is all set to become DMK's president, the election of which will take place on August 28. A day after the announcement on Sunday, Stalin's brother and expelled DMK cadre MK Alagiri made his stance clear.
Alagiri asserted that he will continue with his march on September 5. He stated, "They only wanted me to take the lead in organising the march to pay homage to Karunanidhi." He said that he did all that to save DMK following the demise of Karunanidhi.
Alagiri added, "If they don’t readmit me, they will have to face consequences." Alagiri was expelled in 2014 by Kalaignar after a fight with Stalin over supremacy in the party.
